32nd IAF Workshop – Resilient Coasts, Resilient Earth

Held in conjunction with IAC 2025, the 32nd IAF Workshop brings together government officials, marine and space experts, civil protection authorities, NGOs, academia, and industry leaders to address one of Earth’s most urgent challenges: building coastal resilience through space-based solutions.

✅ Highlight the synergies between space for oceans and disaster-risk reduction

✅ Promote the use of EO, digital twins, GeoAI, IoT, and cloud platforms for coastal and emergency applications

✅ Showcase pilot projects and case studies supporting SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water)

✅ Facilitate new partnerships—especially for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs)

✅ Raise awareness of the UN-SPIDER program and other capacity-building efforts
